“IPL” (intense pulsed light, Stellar M22) is a non-invasive skin treatment that harnesses the power of light to rejuvenate the complexion and eliminate a variety of undesirable skin characteristics. eliminate. The IPL laser uses a broad spectrum of light. Its light energy is converted into heat in the skin. This heat is absorbed by pigment spots such as age spots, sun damage and freckles, causing the pigments to break down and fade without damaging the surrounding skin tissue. At the same time, the mechanism stimulates the body’s own production of collagen fibers. The skin rejuvenates, becomes firmer and more even.

Side effects
There may be slight redness and swelling of the skin , which subsides within a few hours. The treated, pigmented areas of skin darken at first until the skin gradually peels off and the healthy, rosy skin is revealed.
Post-treatment
3-4 weeks after treatment, direct contact of the skin with UV light should be avoided. Make sure you use a high sun protection factor – even in winter.

The treatment is suitable for people with any skin type from I to V. Be careful when taking photosensitizing medication or beauty products (e.g. retinol cream). In this case, you should refrain from taking it for a few weeks after treatment. The result is delayed. Depending on the condition of the skin, an assessment of the success of the treatment can be made around 1-3 weeks later.

Immediately after the IPL laser treatment, the skin shows a slight reddening, which quickly disappears. Occasionally, small crusts form, which fall off quickly and reveal the fresh skin – an effect that achieves the desired skin tightening . The treatment is generally painless and requires no downtime.
Depending on the skin problem, several sessions may be required to achieve optimal results. Overall, IPL is a safe and effective option for anyone who wants to improve their skin without undergoing an invasive procedure.
