CORRECTION OF THE GINGIVAL SMILE WITH BOTOX®

A beautiful smile is a door opener, an attention-getter, an aesthetic ideal. But the greatest power of a radiant smile is that it makes people happy: the smiling person and everyone around them! If the upper lip retracts so much when smiling that around 3 mm of the gums are visible, this is known as a gummy smile. This is caused by anatomical conditions such as misaligned jaws, gum adhesions, teeth that are too short or an overly strong lifting muscle.

The gummy smile treatment is offered in our practices in Baden-Baden and Stuttgart.

Even if the gummy smile itself is not a medical problem, it can certainly be perceived as stressful. People who feel insecure about this radiate this in their restrained “hand-in-front-of-mouth” smile.

An effective and gentle way to counteract the gummy smile is to inject the muscle relaxant botulinum toxin, which weakens the lifting muscle and thus leads to a reduction in the visible gums.

“Botox®“Typically, it takes up to five days for the first results to become visible. The maximum effect is usually achieved from day 14, making a free, uninhibited smile finally possible again!

If it is very pronounced, a visit to the oral surgeon may also be necessary to correct the gum smile. An assessment of the initial situation and the creation of a well-founded treatment plan takes place in a detailed consultation.

Dank Herrn Dr. Yildirim habe ich nun endlich meine Wunschlippen.Ein Termin bei ihm startet mit einem mustermäßigen Empfang. Man bekommt Getränke (Wasser, Saft, Kaffee) und aktuelle Lektüre geboten. Eine sehr schöne Einrichtung und Atmosphäre ebenfalls.Herr Dr. Yildirim begleitet einen ins Behandlungszimmer und nimmt sich im Vergleich zu anderen Ärzten in der Beautybranche, viel Zeit. Mir kam es so vor, als möchte er genau verstehen, was sich der Kunde wünscht, um genau das umzusetzen. Mit ihm kann man wirklich gut reden und ich habe sogar ein iPad bekommen, mit einem Foto meiner Lippen, wo ich einzeichnen konnte, was und welche Form ich mir wünsche.Nun, nach der gestrigen Nachkontrolle bei ihm, wo der letzte Feinschliff gemacht wurde, bin ich sehr sehr zufrieden.Er hat geschafft, was andere Ärzte und Heilpraktiker nicht geschafft haben.Also: Preis und Wartezeit für einen Termin bei ihm lohnen sich zu 100%. Ich bereue es sehr, dass ich nicht bei meiner allerersten Behandlung direkt zu ihm gegangen bin. Sehr professionell, war hier zur Korrektur von Fremdarbeit bei Dr. Bourgla. Man fühlt sich hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Keine extrem lange warte Zeiten für einen Termin und auch vor Ort kein langes warten. Sie hat sich unglaublich viel Zeit genommen und sehr gut aufgeklärt. Ihre Arbeit ist super, auf jeden Fall jeden Cent wert. Ich werde öfters kommen und die Praxis weiterempfehlen.
