SCULPTRA®, also known as poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), stimulates the body’s natural collagen production. In contrast to fillers such as hyaluronic acid, which merely add volume to the areas to be treated, SCULPTRA® tackles the actual cause of facial aging: collagen loss.

Other
As a rule 1-2 treatments at intervals of 4 weeks are necessary to achieve the best possible result. The gradual process of collagen stimulation means that the final result only becomes visible after a few weeks to months.
VOLUME AND STRENGTH WITH POLY-L-LACTIC ACID
Collagen is a vital protein that is responsible for maintaining the firmness and elasticity of the skin. As we age, our collagen production decreases, which leads to sagging skin, wrinkles and loss of volume.
In contrast to instant fillers, the effect of SCULPTRA® unfolds gradually and offers a more subtle and authentic transformation.
The active ingredient in SCULPTRA, poly-L-lactic acid, stimulates the growth of collagen over time. When injected into the skin, it stimulates the fibroblasts – the cells responsible for collagen synthesis. This gradual collagen growth restores volume and suppleness to the treated areas and ensures a natural and long-lasting rejuvenation effect.
Poly-L-lactic acid is a material that has been used in medicine for many years and is naturally biodegradable.
SCULPTRA® is suitable for people who are looking for a gradual and natural-looking optimization of their facial features.
